New Norcia - Cervantes - The Pinnacles

Walebing is located
22 km east of the wheatbelt town of Moora and just 35 km north of New Norcia.
New Norcia offers an
opportunity to share in a unique part of the history of Western Australia.
Founded 150 years ago, the Benedictine Monastery shows a strong Spanish
architectural influence. Now open to the public, visitors may stroll its
olive groves and secret courtyards and take in treasures housed in the
museum and art gallery. There is a self-guided tour along the New Norcia
Heritage Trail, taking in the Abbey Church, Bishop Salvado statue, 19th
century sundial, Bishops Well and the Beehouse.
Walebing is located
on a popular tourist route leading to the north west of the State and also
within easy reach are The Pinnacles at Cervantes.
