After many failures of the JJ 5AR4 I tried these in my own amps .. Not a single failure - I recommend this tube as an excellent replacement for any 5AR4 / GZ34 tube.

5AS4 .. 5AS4A .. Full Wave Vacuum Rectifier
5AS4 = 5U4G .. 5AS4A = 5U4GB

Direct plug-in replacemen for any 5U4 type tube. Australiam made 5AS4 = 5U4 GB tubes were all made by Amalgamated Wireless Valve Co and were branded Super Radiotron, Miniwatt or Mullard. These tubes have Ribbed black plates and side mounted 'O' getter and are excellent sounding tubes.
