Welcome to my WWW Home Page. This page has been established with the University of Western Sydney, Australia, as part of my PhD (Research) program in the Department of Music in the School of Contemporary Arts.
My university research is related to the aesthetics, theory and practice of sound art (ars acustica). I am specifically looking at the current ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) program The Listening Room, its history, audience perception and influence.
The Listening Room program has been running on ABC Classic FM for about ten years. It is broadcast every Monday night at 9 pm and is well regarded internationally.
My research, which is approved by the ABC, has been conducted mainly from within the ABC.
I would like some input from listeners, so if you listen to, or have ever listened to the program, I would appreciate hearing from you so we may talk about it.
