Hi, my name is Raymond Pike.
I have been flying models since I was in fifth grade - about 50 years. My modelling interests are currently electric models of various sorts, but mainly gliders and helis. I also sometimes fly Free Flight models at Nationals - HLG, CLG both indoor and out, indoor rubber and night scramble.
I have flown Thermal Gliders, Slope Soarers, F3B and F5B models, Sports Power, Aerobatics, Helicopters and a little Pylon (power and electric).
I have just finished a pretty successful nationals - the electric events that I was responsible for went very well. Unfortunately I did not score well after destroying my #1 electric glider (shown at the left here) and two of my new F5B motors threw their magnets resulting in some what limited flights !!
I have been spending quite a lot of time playing music and I am now starting on the repairs to my models.
