Hi, my name is Raymond Pike.
I have been flying models since I was in fifth grade - about 50 years. My modelling interests are currently electric models of various sorts, but mainly gliders and helis. I also sometimes fly Free Flight models at Nationals - HLG, CLG both indoor and out, indoor rubber and night scramble.
I have flown Thermal Gliders, Slope Soarers, F3B and F5B models, Sports Power, Aerobatics, Helicopters and a little Pylon (power and electric).
Well 2011 has not been a good year for me flying-wise !!
Although I managed to do some flying at the Easter "National Electric Flight Rally", health issues have meant that it has taken until now for me to start thinking about getting out and doing some general flying again.
Enjoy your flying while you can - its not nearly as much fun when your only flying is on a flight simulator!
