A PICAXE-14M BASED ELECTRONIC KEYER

Yep, yet another keyer circuit! This one uses the PICAXE-14M chip and is programmed in "BASIC". Beware I am not a programmer by profession or as a hobbyist! But the code seems to work OK. And it just fits..... 248 of 256 bytes! There are three modes available. Iambic Mode "A", Bug Mode and a random Morse Code generator. When the keyer is powered up, you have 2 seconds to either press the Dit paddle for "Bug Mode", the Dah paddle for Iambic Mode"A" or both the Dit and Dah for the random Morse Code generator. Of course, this can be changed in the code before you download it into the PICAXE chip. Feel free to change anything. Optimise the code, add a new feature if you can squeeze it in!  The output relay is a bit ""clicky & clanky"". In other words, it sounds like a telegraph keyer! Possibly I should of used a reed relay or something of that sort? At some point I will alter the artwork to include solid state and relay switching. Something like an IRF-510 MOSFET might be a good choice?.

The circuit board artwork is included. It's a "mirror" image but it's not to scale.
