This is my 2nd great grandmothers surname. Hannah Orton married Moses Curtis Page. She was born in Coventry, Warwickshire, England.

KNEELAND

Althea Maria Kneeland, my great grandmother. This surname has been documented in great detail in the book titled 

SEVEN CENTURIES IN THE KNEELAND FAMILY. Althea Kneeland, husband Clarence A. Page and son Dale are located on pg. 229 in this book. This book starts off in Chapter #1 with ALEXANDER KNEELAND. Born about 1225. He was named after the reigning King of Scotland, Alexander III, was a wealthy prelate residing at Kilspendie, in Gowrie, Scotland and married Margaret Wallace, of that place and the aunt of Sir William Wallace. He was there fore the uncle by marriage of Sir William Wallace.

DITTLER

My mothers maiden name. This surname goes back about 5-6 generations to a Fredrick Dittler who I believe may have been the immigrant ancestor from Germany.
