Accommodation

"We arrived with our friends to a warm welcome from our hosts, Michelle and Garry. Their hospitality extended throughout the weekend.

The location is ideal as it is central to other south-west areas. The rooms were very comfortable, and the food was excellent. The views from the house are fantastic and we enjoyed walking and exploring the gardens, set among lakes and a running stream.

We look forward to a return visit (we are coming back, Garry, for the country stew!)

A most enjoyable weekend".

"A truly peaceful and tranquil country hideaway where one can't help but feel relaxed and marvel at the sounds and beauty of nature at her
best.

Hosts, Michelle and Garry's warm hospitality and good food is second to none.

Looking forward to visiting again in the near future."

Michelle and Garry’s Moss Brook B & B hosts are charming and hospitable. Their outstanding home and lush gardens are remarkably beautiful and impeccably maintained. It is certainly one of the warmest and nicest B & B homes I have visited in SW Australia. The marron dinners are luscious. It is worth a special trip.

About two years ago, during a visit to the South West, we stayed at Moss Brook and were so impressed that we vowed to pay a return visit next time we were in the Nannup area, in mid–March we did just that.

From the initial phone call to Michelle we were treated like family. We were shown the improvements and renovations which had been made since our previous visit, these certainly added to the high quality of the room facilities.

The facilities at Moss Brook are first class, much as one would have at home, very comfortable and beautifully presented.

Garry’s home cooked breakfasts are to die for, for those who prefer a lighter breakfast there is a selection of fruit, yoghurt, cereals, toast, etc. etc. Being able to watch the birds have their breakfast just outside the Dining Room window while we had out breakfast was a magical experience.

Evening meals can be ordered in advance, good wholesome home cooked food.

We look forward to future visits to Moss Brook and, eventually, to the new B&B.

I wanted to take my Mum away for a lovely relaxing weekend to say “thank you for always being there for me” and we wanted to see the Nannup Garden & Flower Festival. Moss Brook seemed like the perfect place to stay. Michelle and Garry were wonderful hosts, attending to our every need. The breakfast is what a B & B should be. Big, delicious, fresh cooked breakfast plus cereals, fresh or stewed fruit and yoghurt.

We had dinner both nights and the home cooking was fantastic. The rooms were very spacious, beds were comfy with good quality pillows – a big plus with our own ensuite bathroom. We enjoyed wandering through the gardens of the property and loved sitting watching the different types of wrens having a feed on the verandah. My thanks to Michelle and Garry for a lovely weekend.
