Lawry Mann (aka) Normann Canary

Firstly, I guess I should welcome you all to our Oasis here in Australia. I set the Sun Canaries up to try and find some other NCFC supporters to watch games with in sunny Melbourne, best city in Australia (so therefore, best place on earth). I actually didn't realise their was already a supporter group here in Melbourne, having grown up in Tasmania, which may aswell be the South Pole in terms of social isolation from planet Earth. We've all made jokes about Suffolk and inbreeding but in Tasmania... it is no joke... it's reality and they're not ashamed of it. I'm glad to say that I wasn't born, concieved and nor am I an off spring to anyone from or in Tasmania... so no... before the jokes start rollin, I'm not inbred!

My Father is English and he and my mother (who is Australian) adopted me whilst they were living in Western Samoa, when I was a few monthes old. Our division of the Mann Family Clan are spread throughout Norfolk and this is how I became a Canary. When visiting family in Norfolk in late 93, early 94, my Uncle Roy (an Ipswich Supporter) and my Uncle Derrick (Canary) took all of us kids to a game. It only took one game at FCR and I was instantly hooked... although not yet a crazed fanatic.

The Sun Canaries has a small base of supporters, which we hope to build on, so if you are a "yella" out there and especially if you're in Melbourne, jump on board, because whether we stay in Prem or not, we're stayin here and the more the merrier.

I also run my own design business, so if at any stage this website is left not updated for a while, fear not, I'm just snowed under with work, but will respond to your mail asap. C'mon all ye yellas, get in there...
