spending three months in Italy .. attempting to become part of the nightly passegiatta's .. drinking peroni red, but not knowing what kind of vino rossi was being served up when merlot was not understood, as it never was .. discovering the street art of Blu in Bologna .. watching the nuns gathering outside the Colosseum, and wondering what they might have been thinking .. being appalled by the tourist madness that is Venice .. learning that i could spend the rest of my days looking over the town of Verona from it's city walls .. at least those days when i wan't choosing to spend them entirely at the Bar S Calisto, in Trastevere, Rome ..
