Walpole is the centre of a tourist hub covering Albany (1.5 hours), Mount Barker (1.5 hours) and Denmark (45 minutes) to the east, and Pemberton and Manjimup (1.5 hours) to the north west (estimated at speeds just below the limit).

If you would like to explore the delights of Walpole and its environs, Gerry and Jenny will be happy to help you plan so that you get the most into your day.  Alternatively, if you would like to explore the bush, climb Mount Frankland at sunset or simply discuss the best places to go, Gerry will be happy to help. He has lots of experience (he's a bush-basher from way back) and has good maps!

The following links will take you to information about some special places you can visit and enjoy, all of them close to Walpole - Monastery Landing - Mandalay Beach - John Rate Lookout - Coalmine Beach - The Giant Tingle Tree - Circular Pool - Valley of the Giants and the Treetop Walk - Conspicuous Cliffs - Peaceful Bay - Horseyard Hill Trail

There is so much to see and wonder at in and around Walpole - we would like to help you make the most of your stay in this lovely place.

Enjoy this little corner of magical landscape.
