Kalbarri is approximately 7 hours drive north of Perth, Western Australia. Kalbarri has a lot to offer, after all it is where the first landing in Australia was recorded at Wittacarra creek in 1629, 150 yrs before Capt Cook set foot on Australia. Settled as a town in the 1950's it has pristine coast lines, excellent fishing both deep water and coastal beaches / cliffs, surfing, breath taking scenery, relaxing atmosphere, coastal and inland gorges, along with many tourist attractions.. Kalbarri is the destination of many a family as it's a great holiday spot. You really do need two weeks here just to do everything, and thats not giving you time to relax. So if you are looking for a cheap, quiet, clean family style home for a holiday in Kalbarri, then we have a holiday home that could suit you. Our home is a brick/ tin roof, three bedroom, one bathroom cottage with undercover parking and plenty of extra room for a boat or caravan. We aim our home for families as it is situated at the top end of a quiet safe cul-de-sac, close to the popular childrens rock pools "The Blue Holes" and only 10 min walking distance (approx) to the town centre, shops, the main street of Kalbarri, cafe's, restaurants and the calm waters of Chinamans beach in the river where children can swim in safety. The Cottage sits high and has verandahs around 3 sides and catches the lovely seabreeze early of an evening you can drift off to sleep listening to the ocean crashing on the beach only 300m away. Our home has powerful Reverse cycle airconditioning to the main living area. Ceiling and pedestal fans are also provided for bedrooms. There is a lock up shed for you to utilise and the house is comfortably furnished and self contained. There is an outdoor setting and gas BBQ for you to use as well as DVD Player, 51 cm TV, Fridge/ Freezer, Auto Washing machine etc. For the fisherperson, the boat ramp is only a few minutes down the road. As mentioned it is aimed at families with bedroom 1 having a queen bed, bedroom 2 having a Queen bed and bedroom 3 having two bunk beds so it comfortably sleeps 8 persons, great for two families. Best of all we don't charge per person, it's a flat rate !!! We supply a high chair and a porta cot if you need it, and a childrens corner with some basic toys Fully Self Contained, most things are supplied, but you will need to bring your own towels and linen. Pillows, doonahs / covers and matteress protectors are supplied to all beds. The house is NOT serviced but is cleaned ready for your arrival. So, check our rates, (you will find the availability there as well), make a booking, bring your sheets and towels, and have a great time.
