The Bijou Theatre
Over 107 years old now and still going

The Bijou as it stands today , used mainly by the Esperance Theatre Guild for their local Stage performances.

The Bijou as it was in 1896 , Built by Adelaide & Esperance land Company.

Inside the Bijou in 1896 , seats are now tiered. Travelling picture shows were held there in 1920's , using hand cranked Projectors. By the 1940's 2 projectors were fixed and movies shown once per week. Mick Lalor commenced screening films in the 1950's up until he built Pink Lake Drive in.
